Cactus Bats is located in a small workshop in the Phoenix suburb of Chandler Arizona.
Being lifelong fans of both baseball and woodworking, a hobby in woodworking turned into a bat sale, and more sales turned into Cactus Bat Co. We're thrilled to offer an exceptional hand-made product to our customers, and take absolute pride in our craft and quality.
Our process starts by hand sorting and inspecting pro-grade ash & maple billets. The billet is then turned by hand on a belt driven lathe. The bats then go through a 4-stage sanding process that ensures the surface of your bat is smooth and ready for it's finish. Finishing involves a 5 layer application process of lacquer, ensuring that your bat looks sleek, and performs exceptionally. Finally, our logo is applied, and optional customization is completed in the laser shop. Since all bats are made to order, it's best to allow 2 weeks for delivery, from the time we receive your order.

In the upper left is a picture of the first bat we ever made. As you can see, we've come along way since our first bat, but we haven't taken any shortcuts now that we're seeing more orders stream in. All of our current bats are still produced using the same methods, (hand turning, hand sanding, and hand lacquering). There are only a handful of manufacturers that still produce bats this way, which is what make Cactus Bats so special. We're not just a factory that pumps out hundreds of bats a day. The time and care that we put into making each bat will show when you unwrap your bat and take that first swing.
